Tommy Bui was a Teen Librarian for the Inglewood Public Library providing culturally enriching programs and services to a historically under-served community. Recently Bui made the transition to the Los Angeles County Library system where he serves as a Teen & Adult Services Librarian. The library’s mandate is to bridge the information gap within the community and bolster and empower neighborhoods with site-specific programming and resources. Bui is also a JPL Solar System Ambassador and provides information about NASA missions to the community in engaging and thought-provoking ways.

Tommy is also a contributor to the ALA Office of Intellectual Freedom Blog discussing topics of censorship and creative freedom. He is also a grant panelist for the California Arts Council bringing innovative and arts-centric programming throughout the state
