Jeff Witt currently serves as the Organizational Development Lead for the University of Michigan Library. In this role, he oversees the work of library human resources and DEI with an emphasis on organizational culture and climate. Prior to this, Witt served the University of Toledo as the Assistant Director of the Office of Equity and Diversity where he developed and managed several diversity-related training programs for students, faculty, and staff including a diversity certificate program. Witt’s areas of focus in relation to diversity, equity and inclusion include organizational culture building, LGBTQ+ ally training, poverty understanding, and diversity strategic planning.
Jeff facilitates workshops and discovery labs on the issues of LGBTQ+ Ally Training, Building a Culture of Inclusion, Diversity Strategic Plans, Systems of Oppression, Brave Space and Poverty Understanding. He is on the Board of Directors for the Ability Center of Toledo and co-founded Ethoshive LLC, a DEI consulting business.
